Registration begins for new students and re-registration (for returning students)
What to bring to registration in person registration:
A copy of your child’s Baptismal Certificate. If your child has not been baptized and is over seven (7)
years of age, Original of Birth certificate is required.
First Holy Communion Certificate if child has already received First Communion
If your child is transferring into our program from the Religious Education Program of another parish,
please obtain a letter from his/her former program stating for what grades your child has received faith
formation

Our Lady of Refuge Church is a Roman Catholic Parish that has been serving the people of the Midwood Section of Brooklyn since 1911. Originally founded by Irish and German Catholics it now serves some 30 nationalities and three language groups — English, Spanish and Creole.
Mass is said several times per day at Our Lady of Refuge. For Mass times on Holy Days of Obligation or on National Holidays please visit the news section of this website. Our Lady of Refuge serves the social needs of all, regardless of a person's religious affiliation. The parish offers many services to the community including a food pantry that provides for 300 households each week.
We hope you will feel welcome and at home at Our Lady of Refuge and get involved in the many activities of the parish.
